The History of Carbon Fiber Technology

Carbon fiber material was developed for use in the defense and aerospace industry and is the strongest material known to man. Unlike metals, carbon fiber composites do not fatigue or weaken and can be wound, braided, wrapped, layered or uniquely tailored to provide exacting safety and performance characteristics. When properly designed and configured, carbon fiber composites offer unique benefits for structural applications in the next generation of sports equipment.
